About DS

Dominique Symone is an artist-philosopher from Texas, currently living in Georgia, and forever in love with the South. Her art exists to interrogate communal and societal dynamics to encourage people to identify the work we still need to do for liberation. Armed with a sharp pen and radical analysis, her music turns ears and hearts towards agitation with the hope of changing our collective conditions. She invites listeners into her personal freedom dreams through the gift of rhythm and poetry that is her breakout project - somethin' different.
